Orchard + vineyard wedding by Anthony Barlich Photography

October 27, 2011

That’s right. I said an orchard AND a vineyard. Katie and Drew got married at the Acquaviva Winery in Maple Park, Illinois and, in the words of their photographer, their venue was a WIN-WIN-WIN (orchard + vineyard + winery). This darling couple met in Chicago but now live in San Diego where Drew was relocated for work. In fact, they spent most of the summer before their wedding living in different states–how hard would that be?! They did an incredible job pulling everything together though–what a beautiful wedding!

How amazing is that whole setup with the antique furniture and hanging bottles? It’s très romantic. And isn’t Katie’s dress so unique and pretty? I think my favorite part, though, is that Katie wore a locket with her father’s picture in it. It’s the meaningful details that really count, don’t you think?

Many thanks to Anthony Barlich Photography for sharing these stunning photos with us. And many, many congrats to Katie and Drew who are, I’m sure, settling into San Diego quite nicely.
