In case you missed it + your weekly roundup

November 6, 2011

Nothing like writing a Saturday post at 3:00pm Sunday afternoon. My apologies, friends. The in-laws were in town all weekend and I’m just now getting back to the computer. We spent pretty much ALL of yesterday at Ikea. Please note: Saturday at Ikea is like visiting Disneyland during summer vacation. Or New York on New Year’s Eve. Or Trader Joe’s on a Friday afternoon. You get the picture. It’s chaotic. I was definitely due for a nap today. And maybe a milkshake later?

In case you missed it this week…

  • Inspiration can really be found everywhere–even in Halloween.
  • What in the world do I include on our wedding website?
  • Conflict isn’t bad for your relationship as long as you learn how to fight fair.
  • Florals or graphic prints on your stationery? Some of my favorite floral choices.
  • Fall’s colorful palette plus What Are You Thankful For?

Your weekly roundup…

Ever heard of wood veneer paper? I hadn’t until I saw these super cool Save-the-Dates on Oh So Beautiful Paper.

A really great {and simple} DIY from Oh Happy Day. Use a paint pen on glass jars to write guests’ names–perfect for your wedding or dinner party!

A handmade wedding at its finest on The Wedding Chicks.

Some really great words of wisdom from Alison of The Knotty Bride and Robin of The Broke Ass Bride. We need to remind ourselves of these truths daily. These posts are a must read, you guys.

Over on Every Last Detail…

Looking at this bride and groom literally makes me happy. Their navy and gray wedding was pretty spectacular too.

I hope you’ve all enjoyed your weekend so far. Have a lovely Sunday evening. I’ll see you back here tomorrow!
